Note that’s what I aim for, not a guarantee… some chapters will be longer, and some may fall shorter. Also note that this is $50 total… it doesn’t have to come in individual donations of exactly $50 each. If you don’t have $50 to give, remember that ten $5 donations add up, too.

If you don’t have any money, try to get some friends to read and maybe they’ll donate. If your friends don’t have any money, don’t worry. If they get their friends to read, and so on, then sooner or later we’re bound to get to Kevin Bacon and I hear he’s doin’ alright.

You can see how much is in the bank in the bar on the right side of the site. Bear in mind that this does not automatically update, so don’t be alarmed if you kick in some money and the number doesn’t immediately change.

As long as the money’s there, I’ll work through it at a rate of about two stories a week, usually on Tuesday and Thursday. The rate of writing may go up if the bank gets too full, so I don’t feel like I’m sitting on a huge backlog.

From time to time, reality might intervene and eat into my writing time. If this happens and I miss updates completely for the week, I’ll try to keep you all informed and let you know when to expect the next update. Remember, the donation total only goes down when I actually post a story update. You pay nothing when I don’t write.
